Emma and Sam were married at St Mary’s Walton on Thames an ancient and lovely church, the day was sunny but very cold. I visited Emma’s parents house in Walton where Emma was getting ready. Before the traditional church service at St Mary’s. A large number of well wishers were gathered outside the church where they covered the couple in confetti before Emma and Sam drove off in a vintage car to Northbrook park. A charming country estate just outside Farnham.
Emma looked great in her Edwardian styled dress, she was keen to be photographed in the extensive grounds, which was brave of her as the temperature was only just above freezing. I wasn’t wearing a dress and was frozen, so hats off to Emma and Sam for winter photographic bravery, I got some good wintery images before the newly-weds turned into ice we headed for the inside which was thankfully warm. Everyone gathered for drinks in the orangery before a superb meal. Sam and his old friends were the band for the evening, they kept the guests dancing the night away after some very funny speeches. I headed off with ice underfoot and twinkling stars above my head.
