For classic taste it doesn’t get much better than the two venues chosen by Jo & Alex. The bride was getting ready at the Spa Hotel Tunbridge Wells, before making her way to the ceremony which was taking place at Penshurst Place, Kent. The week had been damp and windy but Saturday dawned brightly. I took some relaxed shots at the Spa Hotel, of Jo along with her Mother and her maid of honour, lots of good humour was on show alongside a large display of snacks. I then headed to Penshurst place where I found Alex and his best man waiting outside in the really amazing grounds of Penshurst. I photographed the two of them before we made our way upstairs to the Sunderland room where an emotional ceremony followed, more than a few tears of joy were spilt along with lots of smiles.
I then accompanied Jo and Alex around the amazing grounds which seemed to offer a photo opportunity at every turn, these grounds are in a league of their own. The guests were an eclectic group of people who seemed to be more up for a giggle than most. The wedding party took their seats in the Baron’s Hall another amazing space which had once been owned by King Henry the VIII. The Wedding breakfast was most certainly fit for a king.
